“Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.”~Benjamin Franklin

The July 4th holiday weekend brought with it family festivities and fabulous food at our summer cottage.

And it brought something else, too—some exciting news.

Jennifer Eggers, my co-author, and I heard from our publisher: At the close of the “soft-launch” promotional period, our new book, Resilience: It’s NOT About Bouncing Back, snagged top spots around the world in various categories. Our book is now a best-seller. A few of the results:

#1 in Small Business & Entrepreneurship (USA)
#1 in Small Business & Entrepreneurship (Canada)
#1 in Success Self-Help Books (Canada)
#1 in Self-Help (USA)
#1 in Small Business & Entrepreneurship (UK)
#1 in Small Business & Entrepreneurship (AUS)
#2 in Business & Investing (USA)
#2 in Small Business & Entrepreneurship (JAPAN)
#2 in Success Self-Help (JAPAN)
#3 in Self-Help (AUS)
#4 in Self-Help (UK)

I don’t often self-promote; blame my deeply ingrained messages from childhood: “Don’t get too big for your britches,” my father would admonish his kids.

But I am doing so today, because my britches have grown along with me.

I hope you will consider buying and reading the book. It represents a life time of learning and teaching and two years of writing and editing. And it’s garnering five-star reviews—by people I don’t know!

“Exceptional book with practical guidance and examples for both personal and professional growth.”

“Fabulous – has a depth not seen seen in typical business books.”

“A must read for leaders.”

You can find it on Amazon in the U.S. and in Canada.

And if you are moved to purchase, may I ask that you also consider leaving a review? Jennifer and I would greatly appreciate your endorsement.

Because we believe in the concepts we present in the book, the methodology we recommend, and we’re damn proud of the result of our efforts.

(Hang on—I need to go check my britches…)
