“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” ~Marcel Proust

A very happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!

Like many of you, I will be enjoying friends and family today (and some turkey), as well as remembering all my blessings.

I hope that, today, each of you—no matter where you may live—takes time to give thanks and appreciate what’s truly important (turkey not withstanding): Not the car or house or bank account or position, but rather the people and relationships that enrich our lives.

And remember to start with yourself.

Because appreciation blooms from the inside out.

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
