“Chaos is a name for any order that produces confusion in our minds.” ~George Santayana
The man who denied the science has now succumbed to the coronavirus and is at Walter Reed Hospital.
I’m confused.
I thought it was all a hoax.
I thought it was under control.
I thought it could never infect the most powerful man in the world.
Doesn’t the White House have the best protocols and the highest level of protection?
Seems that even the most powerful people are less powerful than this virus.
What are we mere mortals to do now?
Must be Fake News.
Or maybe not. Maybe it’s real. Maybe it’s not a deep state hoax.
I’m confused.
Accurate, timely information would dispel it. Too bad it’s not available.
Think I’ll wear a mask.
The scientists say it helps.
That, plus social distancing, both of which were absent during the formal SCOTUS nomination ceremony in the Rose Garden last week.
Seems that even the most powerful people are less powerful that this virus.
Maybe those who attended are confused now as well.
Maybe they’ll start to follow the recommendations of the doctors who aren’t confused.
Maybe.
One can only hope.
“The logic of a madman is a sane man’s confusion.” ~Joe R. Lansdale
