“If all the cars in the United States (and Canada) were placed end to end, it would probably be Labor Day Weekend.” ~Doug Larson
The end of summer is marked by the exodus of hard working folks to beaches, cottages and family gatherings.
Well, usually. This year, perhaps not so much. But we remember, and anticipate:
Fireworks, food, fun and friends.
Rest, relaxation, renewal and re-energizing.
And then there’s the closing of the cottage and the drive home…
Like all things worth doing, there’s an upside and a downside.
There’s joy and drudgery.
Because nothing is a straight line, not a business or relationships or learning or love.
Or the drive home.
Happy end of summer, everyone.
Stay safe.
And wear a mask. Please.
